About Us
Meet Renee Mann, Perth physiotherapist treating everyday injuries, sports, and rehab — with a specialist interest in women's health, pregnancy and postnatal care.
Hi, I'm Renee Mann — physiotherapist and the founder of Becoming You Physiotherapy. I treat people at every stage of life, from sports injuries and back pain to post-surgical rehab, alongside a special interest in women's health, pregnancy and postnatal recovery.
I started this clinic because good physio care shouldn't feel rushed or one-size-fits-all. Every person who walks through the door gets a proper assessment, a clear plan, and treatment that's actually tailored to their body and their goals.
Renee's Story
I graduated from Curtin University in 2012 and completed postgraduate studies in Exercise Science in 2015. Most of my career has been in private practice, alongside hospital experience supporting patients through post-operative and postnatal recovery — work that gave me a strong interest in both sports and rehabilitation physiotherapy, and in women's health.
Becoming a mother myself changed things. I went through my own pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and I felt first hand how much the right support — or the lack of it — shapes that experience. Too often women are told to just "take it easy" or given conflicting advice about their bodies, their pelvic floor, and returning to exercise. That's when my interest in women's health became something closer to a mission.
I've also had my own experience with back pain, which shaped how I practise more broadly. Between the two, I know first hand how much it matters to feel genuinely supported, properly educated, and confident in your recovery — whether that's getting back to sport, healing after surgery, or navigating your body after having a baby.
Becoming You Physiotherapy is built on that: real assessment, a clear plan, and treatment shaped around your body, your sport, your recovery, or your stage of life — with a genuine depth of understanding for women going through pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.

Real sporting and clinical experience. From WAFL and SBL clubs to the West Coast Eagles Women's Academy, I bring elite and community sport experience to every rehab plan.
-
Lived experience, not just clinical theory. As a mum who's navigated pregnancy and postpartum recovery myself, I understand what my women's health patients are going through — not just what the textbook says.
-
Genuine assessment, not guesswork. Every plan is built around your history, your goals and how your body actually moves.
-
Depth across the board. Sports injuries, post-surgical rehab, everyday pain and women's health — all backed by real clinical breadth, not a single narrow focus.
-
Evidence-based, always. Treatment grounded in current research and practical experience, not trends.
